On November 25, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi held a Supreme Commander-in-Chief Staff meeting on the topic of restoring Ukraine’s infrastructure after the November 17 attack.

This was reported by the president’s Telegram channel.

According to Zelenskyi, at Stavka, he heard a report from representatives of the Ministry of Energy, Naftogaz and all key participants in the industry.

“They talked about the progress of recovery after the Russian shelling on November 17 and the further protection of all critical objects,” Zelensky said.

He also said that the issue of gas infrastructure and generation – nuclear, hydro and thermal – was discussed. The issue of increasing opportunities for importing electricity to Ukraine was discussed.

“There was a report by the Air Force regarding covering critical infrastructure objects from the sky. We take the most effective experience of echeloning air defense assets and spread it to other regions,” Zelenskyy wrote.

The President noted that at Stavka there was also a report from the Ministry of Defense regarding contracting and advances for Ukrainian manufacturers of weapons, shells, missiles, and drones.

We will remind that since November 18, blackout schedules have returned in Ukraine due to damage to energy facilities during a massive missile and drone attack.

The IAEA stated that the Russian missile-drone attack on November 17 was aimed at substations that depend on the reliable operation of the Khmelnytsky, Rivne and South Ukrainian NPPs.
