The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this in a video message.
“We are working with our partners from the United States of America on new defense packages that support our air defense system. And this is something that is absolutely necessary before winter – in the conditions of constant Russian strikes,” the head of state said.
The President also emphasized that Ukraine needs real progress in long-range transport. “There is a solution that allows American contractors to work in Ukraine to repair and maintain equipment. This will significantly strengthen the process,” Zelenskyy added.
It was also reported that the Pentagon intends to use all funds available to support Ukraine until the end of Joe Biden’s presidential term – before the inauguration of Donald Trump on January 20.
