Magomedov was appointed the head of the NKCPFR on February 23, 2021. In 2016, Magomedov took part in the competition for the position of the chairman of the board of the National Depository of Ukraine, and in April 2020 he got the position of freelance adviser to the then head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak.
