During the G7 summit, which took place on February 24, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared that he had a productive conversation with Donald Trump. According to Zelensky, the meeting was “very beautiful”, and he expressed his hope for further support of Ukraine by the United States.
“As soon as we had a conversation with Donald Trump. It was a very good conversation within the framework of the meeting of the Greater Seven countries organized by Canada, ”Zelensky said.
The President of Ukraine also thanked Canada for organizing the meeting and emphasized the importance of maintaining unity between Europe and the United States to continue effective support of Ukraine in war with Russia.
“We very much hope that the United States will continue supporting that other partners provide. It is important for us not to lose this unity between Europe and America, ”the President added.
