after Putin’s statements about renewing the nuclear doctrine, Germany should support the partners’ decision on long-range weapons for the Armed Forces.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said this during a joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Fredrikssen, reports Ukrinform.

“As for long-range, we are working to ensure that all countries support long-range. I think that after the statements (Putin – ed.) about nuclear weapons, it is time for Germany to support the relevant decisions,” Zelenskyy stressed.

He emphasized that “it is very important to add to these decisions the number of opportunities by which we can reduce the military potential of the Russian Federation wherever it is.”

It will be recalled that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who may be dismissed in December, has again confirmed his reluctance to transfer long-range Taurus missiles to Ukraine.

Former German Finance Minister Christian Lindner said that before he was fired by Chancellor Olaf Scholz, he proposed to provide Ukraine with German long-range Taurus missiles.
