The publication reminds that on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp, discussions broke out in Poland about the possible participation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the events on the territory of the country.
On January 9, the Polish government passed a resolution guaranteeing Netanyahu’s “free and safe participation” in events marking the 80th anniversary of the camp’s liberation.
Prehistory:
- In November 2024, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu for “war crimes and crimes against humanity” in Gaza.
