Zelensky approved the appointment of Yelizarov to the position of deputy commander of the Air Force

In his evening address, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced that he approved the appointment of Pavel Yelizarov to the position of Deputy Commander of the Air Force.

Zelensky’s direct speech: “There will be a new approach to the use of air defense by the Air Force – what concerns mobile fire groups, interceptor drones, other means of “small” air defense. This system will be transformed.”

Details: According to the president, he approved the appointment of the new deputy commander of the Air Force – Pavel Yelizarov.

“He is known in the army – Lazar, a special unit that works, works effectively. Together with the Minister of Defense of Ukraine and the military command, a new organization for the entire component of this kind of sky protection must be developed – and will be developed.”
