President Volodymyr Zelenskyi implemented the decision of the National Security Council on the application of sanctions against individuals and legal entities involved in Russian aggression.
The relevant decrees are published on the Official Internet Portal of the Head of State.
Thus, by decree No. 761/2024 “On the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine dated November 12, 2024 “On the application and cancellation of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions)”, Zelenskyi implemented the decision of the NSDC on the application of sanctions to 15 persons for a period for 10 years, including, in particular, a native of the Russian Federation, the so-called governor of Sevastopol temporarily occupied by the Russians Mykhailo Rozvozhaev, collaborator Volodymyr Nemtsev, others.
By the same decree, the NSDC’s decision on the application of sanctions for a period of 10 years against 39 enterprises was put into effect.
At the same time, by Decree No. 762/2024, the President put into effect the NSDC’s decision to apply sanctions for 10 years to 63 enterprises, including Russian airlines, airports, oil and gas companies, and others.
The President decided to entrust the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine with control over the implementation of the decisions of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, put into effect by decrees.
In October, Volodymyr Zelenskyy introduced new sanctions against individuals and companies that support Russia in the war against Ukraine. The restrictions apply to 90 individuals and four legal entities.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi implemented the decision of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) to extend sanctions against individuals and legal entities cooperating with the Russian Federation. The NSDC’s decision extends for another 10 years restrictions on pro-Russian media figures Igor Guzhva and Anatoliy Shariy, the leader of the terrorist organization “DPR” Denys Pushylin, as well as companies and assets affiliated with them.
