President Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded the rank of brigadier general to six servicemen, in particular, the chief of the engineering forces — the head of the engineering forces department of the Support Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This is stated in Presidential Decree No. 908/2025.
“To assign the military rank of brigadier general to Colonel Syrotenko Vasyl Volodymyrovych — chief of engineering forces — head of the engineering forces department of the Support Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the document states.
Also, by Presidential Decree No. 907/2025, the rank of brigadier general was awarded to Colonel Dmytro Tkachenko, Deputy Chief of the Joint Staff of the Command of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In accordance with Presidential Decree No. 906/2025, the rank of brigadier general was awarded to Viktor Bryhints, Chief of the Joint Staff, and Deputy Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Also, by Presidential Decree No. 905/2025, the rank of brigadier general was awarded to Colonel Pavlo Protsyuk, the commander of the 12th Army Corps of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
At the same time, Presidential Decree No. 904/2025 conferred the rank of brigadier general on Colonel Vitaly Pazevych, the head of the operational department of the headquarters of the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Also, in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 903/2025, Colonel Yuriy Lyulka, head of the Main Directorate of Affairs of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, received the rank of brigadier general.
We will remind, December 6, Ukraine celebrates Armed Forces Day is a celebration of the courage, honor and self-sacrifice of Ukrainian soldiers who defend the state and the Ukrainian people every day. Today, the Ukrainian army is called the shield of Europe and an example of indomitability for the free world. The most important words of this day are gratitude and faith in victory.
Today, December 6, in Kyiv took place solemn events dedicated to the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in which President Volodymyr Zelenskyi took part.
