Zabarny, Shevchenko and Mudryk: The most expensive transfers of Ukrainian football players in history

The Saint-Germain couple announced the transition of 22-year-old Ukrainian defender Bornmouth Ilya Zabarny.

The current winner of the Champions League gave 63 million euros to the national team of Ukraine, which made his transfer the second most expensive among Ukrainian football players.

In addition, Zabarny has become the second most expensive sale in Bornmouth history. Cherries were sold in 2024 for a record amount of Dominic Sokolak in Tottenham (64.3 million euros).

The second place in this ranking was occupied by the partner of Elijah at the Dean Gayen Dean Center last season, who went for 62.5 million euros in Real.

It should be noted that this season, in addition to Zabarny and Gayen, Bournmouth lost another defender. Left defender Milos Kerkez went to Liverpool for 46.9 million.
