“The weather is great, although not quite football weather. The team played a good sparring game against Niva. It’s always hard to work at training sessions, but we are training and gradually preparing for the second part of the season.
At the moment, it is difficult to train the game with the ball in Ukraine, so we focused on our physical condition during training. Lots of running around now. And in Slovenia we will work more with the ball, we will have interesting sparring matches against European teams. The coaching staff will be able to record certain connections, combinations.
Our youth have been involved in the “Movement” structure for a long time. Most of the guys worked with the first team, so they know Ivan Fedyk’s requirements well. Older players try to ease their adaptation to professional football. However, now everything depends on these guys and how they show themselves.
We hope that the weather will be better in the final sparring sessions of “Rukh” before leaving for Slovenia, because it is difficult to play on such a field. If there is no snow and the weather is warmer, then we will be able to hold high-quality sparring sessions.
With all due respect to our local opponents, we will have opponents of a more serious level in Slovenia. In these matches, we will be able to see what are the mistakes in our game, what we should work on and what to improve. Currently, the team is working on an artificial field, and in Slovenia we will be able to train on grass fields, on which we will actually play in the second part of the season. It plays a big role, so it will be an important stage of preparation for us.”
