The First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Ivan Havrylyuk said this during an hour of questions to the government in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

According to him, for this purpose the possibility of creating units from servicemen of age categories from 18 to 24 years who came into the army under contract is considered.

“In addition, open recruiting centers and work is being done to attract foreigners to perform tasks in the fighting areas in our territory,” Gavrilyuk said.

He also reported that today there are more than 50 recruiting centers by regions and cities of Ukraine to attract citizens on a voluntary basis.

“The mechanism is completed in the case of the necessary admission of the human resource to prepare and replace the troops who carry out tasks today in the areas of hostilities. On gradual replacement, starting with those servicemen who have already been fulfilling the task since 2022,” – said the First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine.

He added that this will happen only when there is a human resource for the preparation and replacement of units that are fighting.

“Busification is a shameful phenomenon, and we do everything to avoid it,” Gavriluk stressed.

The draft law on demobilization and the resignation of Deputy UmerovAs reported by UNIAN, the First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, General Ivan Havrylyuk resigned at his own request. The reason for this decision was not revealed. There was no statement in Havrylyuk in the public space, and Minister Rustem Umerov did not respond to it.

On January 10, 2025, the First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Ivan Havrylyuk said during an hour of questions to the government in the Verkhovna Rada that the demobilization bill was already prepared, but there was a search for decisions to replace those who leave the front.

At present, the relevant bill has not been submitted to Parliament.
