The trophy at the competition in Guangzhou was won by Ann Lee, defeating Lulu Sun in a decisive match. The American updated her personal record – she is 33rd in the world. Lulu returned to the top 100, immediately adding 28 places and rising to the 88th step.
There were several changes in the top 10: Yelena Rybakina and Madison Keys added one place each and are now the sixth and seventh rackets in the world. Jasmin Paolini lost two places and is eighth.
The leader of the rating is Arina Sobolenko. The top five also include Iga Svyontek, Coco Goff, Amanda Anisimova and Jessica Pegula.
