Earlier, the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio reported that the US President’s special representative Steve Witkoff and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner won’t go there but US participation is “probable”.
We will remind:
- On January 30, US President Donald Trump once again stated that he sees a chance for the success of negotiations to end the Russian-Ukrainian war.
- In turn, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, stated that he did not know whether it was the final stage of peace negotiations, or whether work with many countries was still ahead.
- The first round of tripartite talks between Ukraine, the USA and Russia took place in Abu Dhabi on January 23-24. During the consultations, the teams discussed options for ending the war.
