Details: According to the Head of the Department of War of the Office of the Prosecutor General Yuri Belousov, numerous signs of torture and ill -treatment were found on the body of Roshchina, in particular the garden and hemorrhage on different parts of the body, a broken edge. However, during the first examination, the pathologist found that it was a woman’s body. And the examination conducted by the investigators of the Prosecutor General’s office found a coincidence of 99% of the DNA of journalist Victoria Roshchina.
The abbreviation of the Savior can indicate the “official cause of death” established by the Russian side, and means “sadness of the arter’s heart” (from Russian – the total damage to the arteries of the heart).
Earlier in the office of the Prosecutor General reported that due to body condition and his mummification, forensic examination was unable to establish the causes of the death of Roshchina’s journalist.
Prehistory:
- Victoria Roshchyna disappeared on August 3, 2023 in the territory occupied by Russia, where she made a report.
- In May 2024, Russia for the first time acknowledged that she had detained Roshchina. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation sent a letter confirming her father, Vladimir Rochina.
- On October 10, 2024, the head of the press service of the coordination headquarters Petro Yatsenko in Teletrum reported that a freelance author of “Ukrainian Truth” Victoria Roshchyna was killed in Russian prison. GUR noted that the journalist had to return to Ukraine as a result of the exchange.
- On October 11, 2024, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported that criminal proceedings, opened after the disappearance of Roshchina, were doed as a military crime combined with premeditated murder.
- Investigators “Investigation.Info” found out that Rochina was cruelly tortured in Russian captivity: her body had knife wounds, she was beaten by a current, and the Russian colony staff hid her from inspections.
