“These changes are caused by the need to synchronize its work with the state program “Winter Support”, – the department noted.
The ministry said that the money was accumulated on the “National Cashback” card can be spent on:
- utilities;
- postal services;
- food products in stores and supermarkets;
- medicines and medical products;
- books and other printed products;
- charity – in particular, to donate to the Armed Forces and other charitable purposes.
The department says that some of the updated categories became available immediately. Among them is the opportunity to spend money on medicines, medical products, books and other printed products.
“The update is related to the features of the “Winter Support” policy, in particular, the payment of UAH 1,000 for all citizens, which will also be credited to the National Cashback card. So they decided to unify the expenditure categories in both programs. Thanks to this, both programs will work correctly, and state support funds will be directed primarily to basic and necessary expenses,” the ministry explained.
It was clarified there that the conditions for spending funds under the program have been updated will be valid until June 30, 2026.
Also, the Ministry of Economy added that in the program more than 7.5 million Ukrainians are already participatingwho received 4 billion hryvnias in payments.
From Saturday, November 15, Ukrainians can apply for one-time cash assistance in the amount of UAH 1,000 through the “Action” application, Prime Minister Yulia Svyridenko announced. At the same time, “Diya” reported on disruption in work due to the large number of applicants and asked to try again later.
Earlier, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to prepare a comprehensive program of “winter support”, which will come into effect in December. In particular, he announced the launch of the “UZ-3000” transport support program, under which Ukrainians will be able to travel by rail within the country up to three thousand kilometers for free.
Last year, Zelenskyi also initiated a one-time aid program, which provides for the payment of one thousand hryvnias for each Ukrainian, in order to “support the population in the winter period.” For this thousand, you can pay for utilities, medicine, transport, mobile communication, purchase of Ukrainian books and other services, as well as transfer money to support the army.
