This is the first time that a military unit acted as a developer of a sample of weapons and military equipment, and successfully codified it as an item of supply.
As noted in a message on the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense, the development created by Ukrainian military engineers of the Center for Scaling of Technological Solutions (CMTR) is already being actively implemented in the troops.
The ministry explained that this is an innovative device that allows you to detect enemy FPV drones, providing an additional advantage on the battlefield.
“Vitryak M” has already been codified and accepted for operation in the Armed Forces. This is the first case when a military unit acted as a developer of an OVT sample and successfully codified it as an item of supply,” the message says.
It is also noted that the patenting became possible thanks to the Department of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Defense, established in the Main Directorate of Military Justice in September 2024.
New technologies in the Armed Forces – what else is knownAs UNIAN reported, the MOU previously codified and approved the new domestic UAT-TISA armored car for use in the Defense Forces. The model has several features. Depending on the tasks, the equipment can be equipped with additional devices.
A special armored capsule is installed on the UAT-TISA chassis, which provides the crew with protection against fire from small arms. The design of the armored capsule allows you to install a machine gun on the turret. Anti-mine protection withstands the detonation of explosive devices under the wheel and the bottom of the car.
