Former world champion in super heavyweight Deontay Wilder (43–4–1, 42 KOs) is going to return to the ring and close the last losses.

Boxing insider and columnist Manuk Hakobyan reported that the American boxer will fight in April – he will appear on the show from the BLK Prime streaming platform:

“I’ve been told that the Bronze Bomber will be back in the ring in April at BLK Prime’s Boxing Night. On Saturday, January 11, the former champion’s manager Shelly Finkel will meet with journalists and announce the next opponent,” Hakobyan wrote on his social networks.

Deontay Wilder lost his last two fights – on December 23, 2023, he unexpectedly lost to New Zealand boxer Joseph Parker (UD 12), and on June 1 last year, he was knocked out by the Chinese Zhang Zhilei (TKO 5).

Earlier it was reported that Wilder’s coach evaluated the match of the Ukrainian champion Oleksandr Usyk.
