Experts emphasize that the main obstacle in the development is the lack of technologies for the production of solid fuel engines, which are not sold in Ukraine. Professor Zinovy Pak notes that the dependence on the Pavlograd chemical plant complicates the process, because the relocation of production may not be possible due to the proximity to the front. Technologies based on the Soviet heritage no longer meet modern security requirements.
In the future, it is possible to create protected factories using the latest technologies, which can be built on the territories where nuclear ammunition was stored. This opens up new prospects for the production of ballistic missiles in Ukraine, but requires urgent measures to ensure appropriate technologies and protect scientific potential.
