The second from the quartet to the semi-finals was the Norwegian Casper Ruud. He managed to defeat Carlos Alcaraz and Andrei Rublev, and also lost to Zverev.
Alcaraz and Rublev took 3rd and 4th places, respectively. In a face-to-face match, the Spaniard managed to beat the “neutral” – this is his only victory. Rublev finished his performances in Turin with three losses and one set taken.
In the semi-finals, Zverev will play against Taylor Fritz, who became the second in the parallel quartet – Ilie Nastase Group. At the start of the playoffs, Ruud will take the court against the winner of that group, Yannick Sinner.
