The eminent Frenchman praised the work of Michael Carrick and congratulated him on the successful result.
– “Arsenal” lacked endurance and the technical harmony that “Manchester United” demonstrated. They act very convincingly. As a rule, in such matches with an unpredictable scenario, it is the hosts who win. I have to give credit to Carrick – he managed to create something outstanding – Wenger is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.
According to the results of this meeting, Arsenal, having 50 points, retains the first position in the EPL, while Manchester United, with 38 points, occupies the fourth place.
