“We will work with Ukraine. We will work with all, and we will make sure that if there is peace, it is a long time. It is a very long -term business. We are not talking about a two -year peace, after which we will find ourselves in this chaos. We will take care of everything. We will work with Russia.
In response to a clarifying question as to what can be the security guarantees of Ukraine by the US, Trump said “we will let you know this, maybe later.” It is known that after a meeting with Zelensky will begin wider negotiations with European leaders on potential security guarantees.
“We also meet seven big leaders, big countries, and we will talk about it. They will all be involved, but there will be a lot of help. As for safety, the help will be significant. Everything will be fine,” Trump said.
He added that European countries are the “first line of defense”, but the US will also “help.” “We will be involved,” Trump said.
