The White House Advisor, Michael Volt, confirmed that the United States had suspended an exchange of intelligence with Ukraine.
He told reporters on December 5, BBC reports.
Answering the question of suspension of the intelligence exchange, the Volz said, “Yes, we took a step back.”
According to him, US Presidential Administration Donald Trump is watching “all aspects of this relationship.”
The advisor noted that between the US and Ukraine appears “More reconciliation ”tone. The Volz also stressed that a pause in military assistance and exchange of intelligence can be canceled in the near future.
“I think that if we can consolidate these negotiations and move in the direction of these negotiations, and, in fact, put some measures to strengthen confidence on the table, then the president will look carefully at the abolition of this pause,” he said.
