We bow our heads. Born in Kazakhstan, in Ukraine became a chess player and a warrior

Every day at 9 am, Ukrainians honored the memory of people whose lives took away the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today Sport.ua sets the chess player, coach and football fan Roman Khitrich, who stood in defense of his homeland from 2023 and died exactly two years ago, on October 7, 2023 in Luhansk region. He was 43 years old.

Life path and trace in sports Roman Khitrich was born in Kazakhstan. As a student of the upper classes, the guy, along with his family, moved to Berdichev in Zhytomyr region, where he graduated from a local humanitarian gymnasium # 2 and became interested in chess. Roman visited a chess circle, and after graduating from higher education, devoted himself to coaching. He worked as a teacher-organizer at the Berdychiv Youth Center “Yunost”, a specialist at the Youth Center “Sport for All” and a coach in Zhytomyr SHUSSh # 1. The man easily found common ground with every child and was able to interest chess kids.

The novel was a fan of the Berdychiv football club, had a considerable number of departures for the team and participated in the life of the Southwestern Tribune. In the sector he was nicknamed the chess player.

Combat experience and death Roman Khitrich was mobilized in 2023 to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After passing his studies, he got to the 66th separate mechanized brigade named after Mstislav Brave.

Roman Khitrich died on October 7, 2023 in a battle on the outskirts of the settlement in Swativka, Luhansk region. In August, he turned 43.

The warrior was buried in Berdichev. In memory of it friends spend a chess memorial in Zhytomyr.
