Two Ukrainian tennis players made it to the semifinals of the competition at once: Oleksandr Oliinikov and Darya Snigur. For both, it will be the debut semi-final match in their careers.
The Ukrainian women won against the Chinese women: Oliynikova defeated Wang Xinyu in the quarterfinals, and Daria Snigur coped with Yuan Yue.

Alexandra will face first seed and US Open 2021 champion Emma Radukana in the semifinals. And Snigur will fight against Sorana Kirsti, who is seeded at number three.
In the quarterfinals, Radukana dealt with Maia Khvalinska, and Kirstya knocked out last year’s winner of these competitions, Anastasia Potapova.
Both Oliinikova and Snigur were born in Kyiv and now live in the capital of Ukraine. The semi-finals will be held in Cluj-Napoca on February 6.
