“We are preparing for important negotiations with our European partners – with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. Now, before the winter season and in general this particularly important autumn, we have many issues that critically affect Ukraine, the lives of our people. Of course, energy – this is an urgent priority. This is the supply and joint production of weapons. We have already started negotiations on the accession of Ukraine to the European Union. There is no doubt about the strength of the European system the project cannot be. And the topic of Russian assets. That should be aimed at protecting life in Ukraine. There is a clear solution for Ukraine at the expense of Russian assets. So that it will be implemented in the near future it was palpable: there is such support for Ukraine,” Zelenskyy said.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Thursday that the EU will provide Ukraine with an additional 160 million euros for energy security this winter. In particular, 100 million euros will come from the revenues of frozen Russian assets in the EU for repairs and renewable energy sources.
