During the speech, the 31-year-old Norwegian did not hold back tears.
“We are nearing the end of a dream, a dream that really ignited a spark in me. It’s hard for me. It was a fantastic trip.
From the very beginning, I had a plan and a desire to go to the Olympic Games in 2026. But when I opened the door to the fact that this is the last season, I realized that of course it is.
I felt that when I started this year’s World Cup season, it was not the same as before. There was no joy from traveling and doing the necessary training,” Bö said.
Earlier, Ukrainian biathlete Dmytro Pidruchny said that biathletes from Norway are most interested in the war in Ukraine.
