Volyn TCC reported an attack on its employees in Kovel district

The Volyn Territorial Center for Acquisition and Social Support reports that its staff have been attacked in the Kovel district. It is reported that the incident occurred in the afternoon on August 7 in the village of Solovychi during the alerting of the military.

“During the verification of documents, one of the locals refused to present them and tried to escape. At this point, another man, who called himself the elder of the village, jumped into the hood of a office car and smashed a windshield with a stone. The incident was joined by a woman who also struck transport. Another man, armed with a metal object (probably a wrench), broke the side windows and hit the driver three times on his hand, ”the message reads.

The Tax Code added that later the movement of the car was blocked by other vehicles, in particular by trucks, and about 10 people surrounded a service car and for a few minutes caused strokes on the vehicle, preventing the employees of the Tax Code in the performance of their duties.

The police have not yet commented. However, the regional shopping center reported that information on the incident was entered in the ERDR on the grounds of the crime provided for in the article “threat or violence against an official or citizen who performs public duty.” It is reported that one person was detained, the actions of the other – pre -qualified under the article “Hooliganism”.

The day before, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Denis Shmigal reported that all employees of territorial centers of acquisition and social support from September 1 are obliged to wear bodycators and to video recording during the verification of documents or the delivery of narratives.

“This step will ensure the transparency and legality of the CCC alert groups, as well as protect the rights of both parties,” Shmigal wrote in the telegram on August 7.

After the beginning of the Russian full -scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, martial law was introduced and general mobilization was announced.

In the Ukrainian information space, there are regular reports of scandals between the employees of the Tax Code and citizens on the streets of cities and villages. Negative mobilization information is rapidly spreading social networks. It has been repeatedly noted that this is the result of information and psychological operations of the Russian Federation.
