The border guards of the Volyn detachment, together with the customs officers, discovered an ancient icon at the checkpoint “Yagodin”. It was found during the registration of the regular bus “Kyiv – Novy Dvir-Mazovetskyi”,

It is noted that the antique object, dated 1880, was carried in personal belongings by a passenger, a 37-year-old resident of Kharkiv region, who was traveling to Poland.
Customs officers seized the find. Whether it is of cultural or historical value will be established by the examination.
