Ukrainian blogger and volunteer Sergey Sternenko declared an attack on him.

“I was attacked. Wounded. Everything is OK, there is no threat to life, ”he wrote on the social network H.

He did not specify where and under what circumstances it happened.

Sternenko later added that the attacker was detained, thanking the SBU for the “lightning reaction”.

“If not for them, I couldn’t write anything. Literally save my life, ”he wrote in a telegram.

Law enforcement officers are not reported at this time.

This is not the first attack on Sternenko. In 2018, three attacks in Odessa were committed, during the last of them he was fatally injured by one of Ivan Kuznetsov’s attackers. The second participant of the attack Andriy Isaikul later fled from Ukraine. The activist argued that he acted within the framework of legitimate self -defense. Sternenko declared pressure on the investigation from the then Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov and Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova.

In March 2021, the Prosecutor General’s office reported that Venediktov and Avakov discussed the Kuznetsov murder, although this case was a SBU. In April, Venediktova stated that Sternenko’s suspicion “would be in any case”.

In December 2023, Serhiy Sternenko reported that the court had closed the case for a probable excess of his self -defense.
