“The military department… we can talk about it… I’m fine with it. In any case, I believe that this kind of preparatory military education, educational work, training is necessary. Such patriotic education, which is in school, should be at a high level. It is very necessary, because you are ready then. This does not mean that you are preparing for war, it means that you are preparing for the Third World, but if some bastard, who has attacked us now, has come up with something, you will be ready for this challenge. We all want peace, but a just one, but you have to be ready.” – said Zelensky, answering the question whether he supports the mandatory creation of military departments in higher education institutions after the war.
