The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, had a telephone conversation with the President of Moldova, Maya Sandu.
The key topic is the support of Moldova in going through a difficult period of energy challenges, in particular on the left bank of the Dniester. The current energy situation is Russia’s attempt to manipulate energy resources against the authorities in Moldova.
Volodymyr Zelenskyi noted that Ukraine is ready to help Moldova, in particular, with coal. The head of state emphasized that it is important to maintain stability and give all people in Moldova opportunities for a peaceful life, overcoming poverty and joint movement with Ukraine to the European Union.
