A working meeting was held in Vinnytsia region to prepare for the mass pilgrimage of the Bratslav Hasidi to celebrate Rosh Ha-Shan-the Jewish New Year. More than 40,000 pilgrims are expected to arrive in Ukraine, which is much more than in previous years.

Representatives of the authorities and the Jewish community discussed the organization of the safe and controlled pilgrimage movement, and the President of the Rabbi Nathan Ben-Nun Foundation assured that Hasidims pray for peace in Ukraine and follow all the rules.
Rosh Ha-Shan will be celebrated from September 22 to September 24, and the Hasidims traditionally pilgrimage up to three important places in Ukraine-Uman-the burial place of the founder of Bratslav Hasidism Rabbby Nachman, Bratslav-a city, which gave the name of the movement, Medzibozh-the place of birth of Hasidism.
This year, the Jewish New Year of Rosh Ha-Shan in Uman will take place, despite the rumors of the possible cancellation. Recall that on the eve of the annual pilgrimage of Hasidim to celebrate Rosh Ha-Shan Ambassador of Israel in Ukraine Michael Brodsky visited Uman. The diplomat passed the water treatment system to the local hospital.
Earlier a delegation from the city of Uman Cherkasy region Visited Israel, where she discussed the development of the city and Ukrainian-Israeli cooperation.
