The Result Was Met with Plenty of Controversy. Cejudo Was Eye Poked by Song in the Third Round. HE TOOK FIVE MINUTES TO RECOVER AND THEN Continued, Only to See Out the Little Remaining in the Round. In Between Rounds, Cejudo Said His Vision Was Impaired, and He Couldn’t Continue Fighting. That Prompted Referee Jason Herzog to Wave Off The Action, Which Made The Fight Go to A Technical Decision Despite Being Schelyled for Five Rounds. ALL THREE JUDGES AWARDED THE WIN TO SONG, WHO WASN’T DEDUCTED A POINT DESPITE HAVING MULTIPLE FORULS.
