VIDEO. Kabayel and Knyba held a duel of looks on the eve of the title fight

On Saturday, January 10, an evening of boxing will be held at the Rudolf Weber-Arena in German Oberhausen, the main event of which will be a fight for the title of interim world champion.

Representatives of super heavyweight (over 90.7 kg) will meet in the ring, who will play for the WBC Interim belt – Agit Kabael (26–0, 18 KOs) from Germany and a Polish contender Damian Knyba (17–0, 11 KOs).

The day before, the boxers held a press conference and a traditional duel of views. Kabayel admitted that he is happy to enter the ring against an undefeated opponent, but he considers the fight with Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk to be the main challenge.

Agit last appeared in the ring in February 2025, when he defeated China’s Zhang Zhilei by knockout in the fifth round. In October, Knyba prematurely stopped the American Joey Daveyko (KO 7).
