On February 2, Las Vegas (USA) will host an intriguing match between undefeated boxers in the light heavyweight category (up to 79, 379 kg) – they will meet in the ring David Benavidez (29–0, 24 KOs, USA) and David Morrell (11–0, 4, Cuba).
The day before, a mandatory press conference was held, which almost ended in a fight. During the battle of looks, Benavidez pushed Morrell, and Morrell was not confused and launched the championship belt in response.
“I wanted to respect him. But this guy told me what he was going to do to me in the ring. Can you say it’s personal now? I will break his mouth,” said Benavides angrily.
David Morrell holds the WBA World title, while Benavidez is the interim WBC champion.
