On January 11, the final match of the WTA 500 hard tournament took place in Adelaide, Australia.

American tennis players took the court in the decisive match Jessica Pegula (USA, WTA 7) and Madison Keys (USA, WTA 20). Keys won in three sets in 1 hour and 40 minutes.

This was the third meeting of the rivals. Keys won the second head-to-head match.

Keys won the ninth trophy in her career and will return to the 14th position in the new ranking update. The victory over Pegula was her 30th over the representatives of the top 10 of the WTA ranking.

The next tournament for Jessica and Madison will be the Australian Open 2025. Pegula will play Maya Joynt at the start, and Madison will meet Ann Lee.
