During the winter – at the beginning of spring, vegetable prices will increase by about 15%. Such a forecast was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the “All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council” Denis Marchuk on the air of the telethon on Monday, reports UNN.

If we talk about vegetables as a whole, then the negative factor that led to such a sharp rise in prices is the lack of harvest. And in fact, until the new harvest under the open ground, one should not hope for a decrease in prices for the vegetable group

He also noted that this applies to early greenhouse vegetables.

Because the cost of growing them is also quite expensive. Therefore, during the period (winter) – the beginning of spring, the price of vegetables will increase by 15%
