Valery Chernyy: “Banal Oshbs have led to a defeat”

In the match of the second round of the first league of FC “Chernihiv” on his field he received Victoria Sumy. The match ended with the victory of the guests with a score of 2: 1. For Chernihiv, this defeat became the second consecutive. The summary of the match was summed up by the coach of FC “Chernihiv” Valery Black.

– Valery Anatoliyovych, not very successful playing for the result, but it was possible to create a good number of dangerous moments. In your opinion, what was the opponent to turn the game in the first half?

-First, I would like to traditionally thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They allowed us to feed this match today, there was a lot of anxiety today, which influenced the course of the match.

Why did the course of the game change? Because in one and a half minutes we created ourselves two points, that is, we could not withstand the transitional phases. Simple individual mistakes and we miss two balls, having created four to five moments. We are a team that wants to play the ball, which dictates our style, we are not like many others want to resist the opponent, we want to dictate our conditions. We try to do it, we try to create moments, unfortunately, maybe somewhere in the realization has failed us, although we scored the first ball. I am satisfied with the actions of the football players, satisfied with their dedication, they are great well. They fully installed the game, but banal errors led to what we lost.

– How did you set the team in the break? In the starter 45 minutes it was visible that they tried to act the “first number”.

– We also went to play after a break and after anxiety: play the “first number”, try to kill the ball. Unfortunately, after the second missed ball, the opponent played the account, it was comfortable for them, they realized that we had to play. Tried to create fast attacks. A good rival, I would like to say that this is a strong team, already experienced. We have played with them many times, there is a qualified coach, but still I think it is the first game when we completely overcome them, just not on the account.

– Why do you think why Victoria is so statistically uncomfortable?

– Because they were banal. The quality of the players was better, they played more matches in the first league, funding, I think so much more than ours. But now we have leveled, it remains only to achieve the result.
