On January 21, the Uzhhorod City Council signed a contract with the Lviv “ElectronMash” plant for the supply of nine low-floor electric buses. This will be the first public electric transport in the city. This was reported by the Uzhhorod City Council. The value of the contract is 3.9 million euros. Uzhgorod will borrow money for electric buses from the European Investment Bank at 2.75% per annum. Ten months after the Ministry of Finance made an advance payment, the Lviv “ElectronMash” plant, which won an international tender, must supply electric buses to Uzhgorod.
