The Consul General of Ukraine in Krakow went to the airport to find out all the circumstances. The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine informed Suspilny about this.
“The Ukrainian side categorically does not accept the attitude shown in the video towards its citizen and champion,” the diplomatic mission said in a statement.
At the same time, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiga, instructed the Consul General to express his protest and indignation at this attitude.
Detention of Usyk: what is knownOn the evening of September 17, Ukrainian athlete and politician Zhan Beleniuk reported that boxer Oleksandr Usyk was arrested at Krakow airport. He did not reveal the details.
