Usyk was accused of treason. The world champion was left without property in Crimea

The so-called “Crimean authorities” decided to seize the assets of individuals and legal entities”, — write: sport.ua

WBC, WBA and IBF super heavyweight world champion (over 90.7 kg) Oleksandr Usyk (24–0, 15 KO) was left without his property, which he owned on the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

The speaker of the so-called “regional parliament” Volodymyr Kostiantynov announced the “nationalization of assets” owned by 84 individuals and legal entities.

Usyk was accused of treason, called a “fan of Nazi ideology”, and also accused of regularly providing financial assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition to the boxer, many famous personalities and objects made it to the list:

  • Ihor Franchuk is a Ukrainian businessman and politician, People’s Deputy of the II-IV convocations. He holds the position of vice-president in the “Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs”, is an adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine.
  • “Tavrida-Plaza” LLC is a company that is part of the Ukrainian “TMM” group, which produces drones and airplanes.
  • PJSC “Mine named after O.F. “Zasyadka” is an enterprise whose shareholders include the State Property Fund of Ukraine.
  • They “nationalized” the property of Ukrainian military personnel and volunteers, including Mykhailo and Kostyantyn Novoseltsev, Yehor Tkachenko (fighter of the Kholodny Yar brigade), Yevhen Babich (colonel of the Ukrainian Air Force).
  • Volodymyr Prysiazhniuk is a Ukrainian public figure.
