Silver medalist of the Olympics (2020) Richard Torres (13–0, 11 KOs) entered the ring against the experienced representative of the Czech Republic Tomas Salek (23–7, 14 KOs).
Underdog tried to move a lot on his feet, hiding behind the block so as not to miss powerful blows from Richard. The American easily shortened the distance, caught the opponent with side kicks, periodically threw uppercuts.
In one of the episodes, Torres caught the Czech with a right hook, after which the opponent bled from the nose. The fight was stopped, Tomas was examined by a doctor and forbidden to continue the fight due to a broken nose.
Torres is one of the contenders for the IBF world title, which is currently held by Oleksandr Usyk. To hold a fight against a boxer from Ukraine, the American must defeat the Cuban Frank Sanchez.
