Former world champion in three weight categories Duke Mackenzie assessed the career of Ukrainian champion Oleksandr Usyk after his victory in the rematch with the British Tyson Fury:
“The decision of the judges was correct. There was only one winner in this fight – and that is Oleksandr Usyk, because he was smarter in the ring. The Ukrainian won this fight, unequivocally.
I don’t know who can beat Alexander because he makes all the heavyweight boxers look like ordinary fighters. Usyk has a better set of professional skills, he has an incredibly powerful engine. The way he conducts himself in and out of the ring is an example of how a world champion should behave. Usyk is a professional in everything he does,” says McKenzie.
