- During the consideration of the NABU detective’s motion to detain Ihor Myronyuk, a person involved in the corruption investigation at Energoatom, the prosecution noted that Zelensky’s close friend Timur Mindych exerted influence on former Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko and former Minister of Defense Rustem Umyerov.
- Umerov stated that no one “influenced” him as the Minister of Defense. Umerov admitted that he met with Timur Mindich regarding the contract for body armor, but, according to him, the contract was terminated due to the non-compliance of the goods.
