Earlier, Politico wrote that the White House has not yet scheduled a bilateral meeting between Trump and Zelensky. The publication calls Wednesday a key day for discussions regarding Ukraine, linking it to the fact that Trump will schedule a meeting with the leaders of the “Coalition of the Willing”, which unites Kyiv’s allies, on January 21. They intend to ask Trump to approve security guarantees agreed earlier this month in Paris for post-war Ukraine as part of broader peace talks led by the United States, according to reporters.
Earlier, the head of the Ukrainian negotiating team, Rustem Umyerov, said that negotiations with US representatives regarding ending the war will continue at the World Economic Forum this week. Also, according to the mass media, the special envoy of the Russian president, Kyrylo Dmitriev, will come to the forum in Davos.
