The Secretary of the National Security Council Rustem Umyerov reported on his visit to Turkey, where he met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey and the head of the National Intelligence Organization.

Details: According to him, during the meeting in Ankara with the head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Hakan Fidan, the parties discussed the security situation, the progress of the negotiation processes and the coordination of further steps. “As always, special attention is paid to the humanitarian track and the issue of the return of our people,” Umyerov said.

Also, during the visit to Turkey, Umerov met with the head of the National Intelligence Organization, Ibrahim Kalin. “They exchanged assessments of the security situation, discussed possible scenarios of the development of events and coordination of actions taking into account the dynamics of negotiation processes and the regional situation,” – wrote the secretary of the NSDC.
