“Ukrzaliznytsia” reports that the movement of trains in Kirovohrad Oblast, Kharkiv Oblast and Sumy Oblast is complicated due to damage to the infrastructure as a result of Russian shelling.

“We use combined transportation, backup traction and sometimes detour routes,” UZ said.

According to the company, the railway infrastructure was damaged in the Kirovohrad region as a result of shelling at night. “The fires were extinguished quickly, there were no casualties (because everyone moved to the shelter in time), the gauge was restored on both tracks. However, delays in the de-energized section affected 4 trains due to the movement under reserve diesel locomotives: 51/52 Odesa – Zaporizhia, 127/128 Lviv – Zaporizhia, 7/8 Kharkiv – Odesa, 53/54 Dnipro – Odesa,” the message says. The average delay time is more than two hours.

In the Kharkiv region, due to restrictions on movement caused by shelling, the train to Lozova moves along a changed route with delays, combined logistics is used.

“Yes, passengers of train No. 92/91 Kramatorsk – Odesa – Kramatorsk were transported by bus at night with the help of local authorities in Kharkiv Oblast. The route of train #103/104 Kramatorsk – Lviv has changed. Despite the delay and detour, this flight successfully carried out the planned civil evacuation from Lozova of 19 passengers with reduced mobility, two cats and a dog. Later today, trains #102 Kherson – Kramatorsk, #104 Lviv – Kramatorsk, #712 Kyiv – Kramatorsk will run along the detour route through Merefa with a delay of around 2 hours,” the message says.

In the Sumy region, as reported in “Ukrzaliznytsia”, combined logistics is used: train + bus.

“In particular, passengers of train #787 Tereshchenska – Kyiv are transported by buses to Konotop, where boarding for train #779 Sumy – Kyiv is organized,” the company noted.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles. In particular, rescuers of the State Emergency Service regularly come under repeated blows.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
