Starting from February 3, JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” appoints a new passenger train on the connection “Odesa – Rakhiv”.
The company announced this in Telegram,
“Given the consistently high demand for travel from the south of Ukraine to the Carpathian region, Ukrzaliznytsia appoints a new long-distance train No. 26/25 Odesa — Rakhiv. The start of the service: from Odesa — from February 3, from Rakhov — from February 4,” the message reads.
It is noted that the train will run daily. Departure from Odesa at 18:38, arrival in Rahov at 13:20. In the return direction, the train will depart from Rahov at 14:21 and arrive in Odesa at 08:38.
The route will pass through Podilsk, Vapnyarka, Zhmerinka, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Yaremche, Tatariv-Bukovel, Vorokhta, Yasinya and Kvasy.
Ticket sales are already open – in the mobile application, on the official website and at railway ticket offices. Also, the new train participates in the “3000 kilometers through Ukraine” program.
In addition, to meet the increased demand for transportation to the Carpathians, UZ will appoint an additional train #255/256 “Kyiv — Rakhiv” on certain dates. The nearest flights from Kyiv are scheduled for January 26 and 28.
We will remind, on January 22, “Ukrzaliznytsia” introduced a new traffic schedule to solve the problem of mass delays caused by shelling, detours and movement under reserve diesel locomotives in blacked-out regions.
