“We are launching 10 completely new trains, five of them will go directly to the mountains, because this is our priority direction. Three more completely new trains with a new schedule will go in the direction of our indomitable Kharkiv,” Golovashchenko said.
Yes, from December 15, train #33/34 Kryvyi Rih – Yasinya will appear, which will allow passengers to get to popular tourist resorts in Yaremche, Tatariv-Bukovel, Vorokhta and Yasinya.
New trains will also run from Dnipro to Rakhiv (No. 61/62), from Kharkiv to Chernivtsi (No. 145/146), from Poltava and Kremenchuk to Uzhhorod (No. 125/126-129/130).
The two cities in the east of the country will be connected by the new regional train No. 823/824 Kharkiv – Dnipro, adding opportunities for travel in the region.
In addition to the appointment of new flights, the carrier is also developing a number of existing connections. For example, the route of train No. 85/86 Zaporizhia – Lviv has been extended to Rakhiv station, which will expand the access of residents of Zaporizhia, Dnipro, Vinnytsia, Zhmerinka, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil to the recreation areas of the Carpathians. And the route of train #105/106 (205/206) Odesa – Kyiv in peak periods can be extended to Kharkiv.
“And we are introducing the “iron acceleration” system – thanks to the optimization of routes, we managed to speed up the movement of 38 domestic and international trains,” added Golovashchenko.
According to the carrier, it was possible to reduce travel time by more than an hour on some routes.
Also, starting from December 15, UZ will launch a direct daily train #9/10 from Kyiv to Budapest.
Previously, “Ukrzaliznytsia” had appointed several additional trains for destinations popular among travelers.
